Overview

Thank you for visiting our homepage! Research Center for Terahertz and Nano-optical Sciences aims at developing technologies for terahertz and nano sciences and promoting collaborations inside and outside Yokohama National University. Terahertz technologies are recently draw considerable attention because of the promising applications on fundamental science, imaging, wireless communication, and security. In this center, we especially focus on visualizing the invisible phenomena using various unique techniques such as single-shot, nano-optical and broadband spectroscopies. For this purpose, we need to assemble various researchers from different research fields and looking for possibilities for applications. We also hope the center to have open and innovative atmosphere by setting some seminars and meetings to further collaborations and deepen the understanding of the nature.
